Oma-zaki

Located at the northernmost tip of Honshu, the biggest island in Japan, Oma-zaki has a tuna fishing port.

There are lots of barbecue stalls, giving fresh grilled tuna.

Seaside line

A drive route running along the coastline is also recommended.

Along the road, there are shops selling dried squids.

Osore-zan

As the most famous spiritual point in Japan, Osore-zan is opened at 864 AD. in the center of the Shimokita Peninsula.

There are shamans called as Itako, that haunts the dead person and talks to the living.

It has a free hot spring, too.
