Mt. Sanbe-san has a calm scenic road, which runs around the extinct volcano.

47km from Mt. Sanbe-san, there is Izumo Taisha Shrine, too.

It is said that all gods in Japan come together to Izumo from mid-November to mid-December. That’s why the month is called as “Gods-None-Month” in old Japan.
