Mt. Aso – Yamanami Highway

Mt. Aso has the representative touring route in Japan, Yamanami Highway.

It runs 55km from Yufuin to Aso, with wide spreading scenic view.

On the weekend, you can see lots of motorcycles lining up.

Nagasaki

There is Nagasaki Prefecture on the opposite bank of Kumamoto Prefecture which has Mt. Aso.

The road is as beautiful as any other coastline road in Japan. Especially, people there are kind and friendly.
